VeryWWW. /
Your daily mood
The web, but very you.
A new tab that holds your tools, notes, prompts, focus timer and the odd movement break. Free. Local-first. Mildly opinionated.
N° 01 — The tab
This is it. Go on, poke it.

YOUR DAILY MOOD
Well.Well.Whatever.
Another tab. Another brilliant idea. Probably.

Interlude N° 1 — Sun court, 11:04Five places, each by day and by night
N° 02 — Contents
Everything a new tab should have been doing.
Every tool you open forty times a day, one tile away. Group them into Spaces — Morning Setup, Deep Work — and open the lot in one click.
Three priorities a day, not seven. Quick notes that save on Enter. A to-do list for the rest, when you must.
Keep the prompts that actually work. Paste something, pick an assistant, ask. Your best phrasing, on tap.
A 25, 50 or 90-minute focus session that a Space can start as it opens. Focus mode hides everything except what you said mattered.
One click. Every tab you were going to open anyway.
Three priorities. Not seven. You know who you are.
Your best phrasing, kept somewhere better than a sticky note.
Breaks wait politely until your timer’s done.
N° 03 — Tools
Every assistant. One tab away.

Add any site as a tool. Name it, give it a line, pick a colour for its mark. Put %s in a search address, then type the tool’s name followed by a query in the command bar.
N° 04 — The command bar
Type b. Then anything.
In Chrome’s address bar, type b and a space. Sums, conversions, any of your tools by name — from whatever tab you’re on. Or press ⌘K on the new tab itself.
b 2 tablespoons in ml- 29.5736 ml
b 18% of 240- 43.2

N° 05 — Body & mood
A tab that notices you’ve been sitting.
Switch reminders on and, every so often, VeryWWW suggests two minutes of moving, stretching, breathing — or looking at something further away than a screen. A 3D figure shows each of the 39 exercises, and each says how good the evidence is. It waits until your focus timer ends.

Interlude N° 2 — Arcade, 22:40Same tab. Later, softer.
N° 06 — Project Shelf
A shelf for things you’ll ‘read later’.
Drop, paste or right-click. Drag files and links onto a folder, paste a link or a copied file path, or right-click any page or link and save it to the Shelf.
Name it. Each one becomes an entry you can call whatever you like.
Find it later. Open the link, copy the path, or search across every folder.
An entry is a name plus a link or a path. Files themselves are never uploaded or copied.

N° 07 — Questions
Asked, mostly politely.
Yes. No plans, no tiers, no “Pro”. It’s a new tab, not a subscription.
Not quite. VeryWWW is in private testing, and its Chrome Web Store listing is on the way. When it’s live, this page will link straight to it.
In your browser. Notes, priorities, prompts, tools and Spaces are stored locally by Chrome. There’s no VeryWWW account and nothing is sent to us. Switch on Chrome sync and your tools, Spaces, prompts and settings follow your Google account; notes never do. The details are in the privacy note.
Storage, alarms (for breaks and the timer), search, the side panel and the right-click menu, to start — none of them shows a warning. It can touch a web page only when you use one of its menu items or shortcuts on that page. Tabs, bookmarks, notifications and the rest are optional, asked for only when you switch on the feature that needs them. The full list, and why, is in the privacy note.
Chrome 116 or newer.
Type b and a space in the address bar to talk to VeryWWW from any tab: sums, unit conversions, your tools by name.
No. Press Alt+X, or click its toolbar button, and VeryWWW opens in Chrome’s side panel beside whatever you’re reading: tools, notes, prompts, the Shelf and the focus timer. Right-click selected text, a link or the page itself to save it as a note, a tool or a Shelf entry. Alt+Shift+N switches Light/Dark and Alt+Shift+F starts a focus session; change any of them at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
Yes. Settings → Personality → Unfiltered humour. Off keeps the daily mood clean. It was mostly Finnish anyway.
Presenting mode blurs notes, calendar entries and activity while you share.
Open-Meteo, and only once you’ve set a city. Your city is used to fetch a forecast and nothing else.
